Hendrix Men's Lacrosse Camps

Head Coach Anthony Biondo

Anthony Biondo was named the Hendrix College interim head men's lacrosse coach in January 2017, after spending three seasons as the Warriors' assistant.

In Biondo's first year as an assistant, the Warriors set new program records in wins, ground balls and goals against average. He coached one defensive player of the week and a second team All-Southern Athletic Association defenseman.

In 2015, Biondo's defense led the nation in caused turnovers per game and ranked 32nd in ground balls per game.

Biondo has coached four All-SAA selections in three seasons.

Biondo came to Hendrix after spending the 2013 season as an assistant at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia. While with the Tigers, he coached goalkeepers and face-offs under legendary head coach Ray Rostan.

Biondo spent time working with development programs in Florida, including Orlando All-Star Lacrosse, the Florida Fighting Possums and Team Florida Lacrosse. From August 2011-December 2012, Biondo was the head boys lacrosse coach for Lake Nona High School. Prior to Lake Nona, he was an assistant coach for Freedom High School and student assistant at his alma mater Saint Leo University in Saint Leo, Fla.

Biondo was a two-year varsity captain for the Lions and made the President's Honor Roll as a senior. He graduated from SLU with a bachelor of arts in Education in 2009.
